Please note that this excursion demands good physical condition, and participants should come prepared with suitable attire. This includes sunglasses, a hat, gloves, water-resistant clothing, and shoes with strong ankle support.

The Grey Glacier spans approximately 6 kilometers in width, covering a total area of 270 km², and is divided into three distinct sections. It is one of over 40 glaciers that constitute the Southern Patagonian Ice Field, serving as a vital source of fresh water in the region.

Get ready to embark on an extraordinary journey that challenges the limits of imagination with our exhilarating "Ice Hike" on the Grey Glacier.

This icy adventure spans approximately 5 hours. We'll equip you with a backpack containing a harness and crampons before setting off on a boat to the island nestled in the heart of the glacier. From this point, we'll undertake a 40-minute to 1-hour ascent over moderately challenging rocky terrain to reach the ice access point.

Once positioned at this height, you'll be treated to breathtaking views of the Andes peaks and Lake Grey. Before stepping onto the glacier, we'll instruct you on using the gear and supply you with a helmet and ice axe.

Following our dress code is crucial, not only for your comfort but also for your safety. Essential items include sunglasses and gloves, alongside waterproof clothing, high-ankle boots, trekking pants, and layers to adapt to the ever-changing weather conditions.
