Following the initial check-in at the Lago Gray hotel, we will enjoy a 40-minute walk to the boarding area. Once aboard the catamaran, prepare to be mesmerized by the numerous floating icebergs and their diverse formations, perfect for observation or photography.

After approximately 45 minutes of cruising, we'll approach the glacier, which is separated by a central island where we may disembark if weather conditions are favorable. We will then return to the catamaran and disembark at our starting point after a 3-hour adventure.

Our thrilling adventure kicks off with check-in at the Hotel Lago Grey lobby, one hour prior to departure. Please note that times and frequencies vary by season.
After completing the check-in process, we will embark on a 40-minute walk, covering approximately 3 km along Gray Beach from the hotel to reach the Catamaran Gray III. This is where our breathtaking journey begins. We will set sail from the Gray area of the Torres del Paine National Park, heading toward the southern tip of the South Ice Field, home to the impressive Grey Glacier.
On board the Grey III ship, we will explore the glacier. This majestic glacier features an ice wall towering around 40 meters high, displaying stunning shades of blue that create a mesmerizing natural spectacle. We will also witness numerous floating icebergs in various formations, perfect for observation or photography.
After approximately 45 minutes of sailing, we will approach the glacier, which is divided by a central island. Weather and wind conditions permitting, we may have the chance to disembark here.
This experience allows us to fully appreciate the vast array of crevasses and peaks that form the drifter. Occasionally, large ice collapses can occur, which may prevent the Gray III from continuing its navigation. However, this offers a unique opportunity for zodiac navigation… another exciting way to enjoy this adventure.
The journey to Gray Glacier, sailing across the waters of Gray Lake, lasts approximately 3 hours and includes a complimentary drink per person (pisco sour, soft drink, or juice).
During the voyage, we may encounter challenging weather conditions, primarily wind, adding an extra layer of excitement to the experience. Rest assured, the entire team on board is committed to ensuring your adventure is unforgettable.
